Covid Information For Guests

We shall be occupying just 2 of the guest rooms, to ensure social distancing in and around Millview, going above and beyond the guidelines to give guests peace of mind for their stay.

If you have any questions, queries or concerns, please do get in touch.

What to expect
Whilst things may look a little different, we hope it will still feel the same. We’ll still deliver the same attention to detail and friendly and personalised service. We have implemented a range of procedures and extra-steps to ensure the safety of guests and staff. We’ll respond to any new or amended Government advice, and share updated information with you as soon as possible. Social distancing plays a vital role, so we urge guests to apply common sense whilst staying with us here at Millview Accomodation Ullapool, and in return we will be doing the same for you. Face coverings are now mandatory when moving around Millview, but not necessary once seated, in your private room or in the garden areas.

Before you stay
We’ll send you an email prior to your arrival, with information about our revised check-in procedure.
Your room will be available from 4pm onwards on the day of your arrival, to allow time for the ‘Room Safe’ cleaning process to take place.

On arrival
Please use the hand sanitiser before entering Millview, then please use your self check in details to enter to commence enjoying your stay.  You’ll notice signage around to gently remind guests of the safety measures in place.  Our regular paper check-in forms won’t be used – we shall gather your track and trace information during emails preparing for check in within 24 hours of your stay therefore will have all the details we require.

Your room
In addition to our usual high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, we have introduced a ‘Room Safe’ procedure which implements a disinfecting fabrics this ensures all areas of the room are sanitized, including soft furnishings. Our enhanced regime also includes careful sanitizing of touch-points, such as light switches, remote controls and door handles. Your room will then be sealed to ensure no other guests or staff have entered since this cleaning process.

Housekeeping
We are operating a slightly adjusted daily housekeeping service. If you are staying more than one night, we’ll be happy to arrange to leave fresh towels along with a sealed bag of toiletries and provisions outside your room.
For your peace of mind, our bed linen and towels are laundered to BS EN 14065.

Eating In and Out
As most eateries will likely be operating with reduced capacity, we’d recommend that you contact local pubs and restaurants prior to your stay to make table reservations in advance and check adjusted opening times. Of course you are very welcome to bring your own food (please note we do not offer cooking facilities) and takeaway food to enjoy at the dining table in your room for the moment for social distancing reasons.

Check-out
We’ve adapted our check-out process to reduce contact, so you can simply pop your room key on the hall table for us to sanitize. If necessary, you will be able to pay any balance due during your stay, we only accept cash at the property. Unfortunately we cannot offer to store any luggage for you, and we ask that you check-out by 10am to allow the safe cleaning time.

Book with flexibility
By booking direct with us, you will be guaranteed the best room price, we are always cheaper than Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Airbnb, etc.  All bookings old and new shall return to the original cancellation policy when all of Scotland enters level 2 or less with the exception of a guest being tracked and traced, confirmed as having COVID-19 or your local area goes into a higher/different level to Ullapool therefore making it impossible to travel.
